Saikō no Kataomoi (The Greatest Unrequited feelings) Saikō no Kataomoi (The Greatest Unrequited feelings) is the ending theme of The Story of Saiunkoku. The Story of Saiunkoku (彩雲国物語 Saiunkoku Monogatari, lit. Tale of the Land of Colored Clouds) is a series of Japanese light novels written by Sai Yukino and illustrated by Kairi Yura. As of July 2011, the eighteenth and final volume was released, concluding the series. Four side story anthologies have also been released, collecting stories originally published in The Beans magazine. Also Saikō no Kataomoi (The Greatest Unrequited feelings) is Sachi Tainakas third single and was released on August 30, 2006. The title track was used as the ending theme for the Japanese animation Saiunkoku Monogatari. The single reached #50 in Japan. The CDs catalog number is GNCX-0005.
