Gentle Jena is a background music of Planetarian: Chiisana Hoshi no Yume (The Dream of a Little Planet). Planetarian: Chiisana Hoshi no Yume is a Japanese post-apocalyptic visual novel developed by Key, a brand of Visual Arts whose previous works include Kanon and Air. It was released over the Internet on November 29, 2004 for Windows PCs, and is rated for all ages. The game was later ported to the PlayStation 2 (PS2) and PlayStation Portable, as well as mobile devices. The story centers around a middle-aged man who comes across a malfunctioning robot in a dead city. The man, known simply as "the junker", stays with this robot for a time and attempts to fix the projector of the planetarium where the story takes place. And Gentle Jena was composed by Magome Togoshi. Magome Togoshi (戸越まごめ Togoshi Magome) is a Japanese video game composer for visual novel studios. He began work as a music arranger in 1999, where he started working for the visual novel studio Key under Visual Arts to produce music for Kanon. Between then and 2006, Togoshi composed music for four more titles by Key, along with other games produced by game brands also under Visual Arts. In October 2006, Togoshi resigned from Key and Visual Arts. He continues working with other visual novel developers.
