Himawari no Yakusoku Himawari no Yakusoku was used as the theme song for the movie Stand by Me Doraemon (2014). Stand by Me Doraemon is a 2014 Japanese 3D computer animated film based on the Doraemon manga series and directed by Takashi Yamazaki and Ryūichi Yagi. It was released on 8 August 2014. Bang Zoom! Entertainment premiered an English-dubbed version of the film at the Tokyo International Film Festival on 24 October 2014. And Himawari no Yakusoku is a song by Japanese singer-songwriter Motohiro Hata from his album with the same name. The album was released in two versions: a limited edition available until the end of December 2014 and coming with a Doraemon collaboration jacket and slipcase as well as a mini sticker, and a regular edition whose first press came housed in a slipcase.
